Veronika Honestly raw vegan fruit cakeHi there, it's Veronika!

As you know, I'm not a cook, nor a photographer. So by no means, I'm attempting here any posh recipe show off. I'm just not-good-at-that. I'm better in maths.

And not really good at English, so please note my Honest Language Disclaimer (no, it's not about profanity) before we can continue. I warned you.

So... I couldn't stay away from this topic too long. What did I expect? Running a vegan blog without recipes? Such a thing doesn't exist... I guess.

And as promised in my summer(!) article where I challenged myself to be sugar-free, while also being a vegan (ok, that second part is not really a challenge for me =), here is FINALLY (lot's of applause!) my recipe for vegan cake, which happens to be raw (cool, that's extra portion of healthiness - what a weird word!) and also happens to have no added sugar. What? Yeah, sweet dessert without added sugar. That's the kind of magic I like.

Hi, it's Veronika here!

And just on time - this article has been sitting unfinished for a good couple of months, so I'll keep it short today, as Christmas is coming and that's the best time to check out some zero-waste gift wrapping. At least I'll try to keep it short. Luckily, what I have for you today is simple and not much explanation is needed.

But before we start, please note my Language Disclaimer (no, it's not about profanity) =)

I'm a maths tutor and when I worked in school, I just couldn't stand the neverending amount of paper waste. Hundreds of one-side printed worksheets and many of them didn't end in workbooks, or were done wrong and needed to be replaced or simply were just left unfinished or printed in bigger amounts than needed.

Hi, it's Veronika here!
I'm going to talk about the work behind a running a shop today.

But before we start, please note my Language Disclaimer (no, it's not about profanity) =)

As you may know, I'm running charity-oriented shop Magicful Home which sells certified cruelty-free vegan eco-friendly beach home decor (at this moment that means rainbow pillow line and soon also a wall art, yay!) under Veronika Honestly.
And I wanted to share with you how this works.

Veronika Honestly Vegan Blogger Language DisclaimerHi, it's Veronika here. As always =)

To this date, December 2018, you may have wonder what on Earth is going on with the speed of articles being added to this blog which is just about as same as a snail stuck in the mud.

I'll tell you what. It's my English. As you may know, English is not my first language and because I'm a perfectionist (and so far was not a language-blog-suicider), I always let my articles being proofread by my partner (he's English native, so he should know better). Yet, we're all busy. I'm busy, he's busy, heck, I bet you're busy too. And that's why it takes ages to get something to proofread. It pushes me back from even writing at the first place. I have several articles unpublished for a couple of months. Poor articles.

Charlotte ChapmanHi, it's Veronika here! Today I'm going to introduce to you a great vegan photographer Charlotte and her shop based in England. Charlotte is also a like-minded business owner who sells on Etsy - her beautiful nature photographies which she offers as cards and prints for many occasions. But that's not all! Charlotte, please let us know more about you and your brand, work and goals:

Hi Veronika,

Thanks for getting in touch with me.
In simple terms, I studied Art & Design at college and fell in love with photography. I have been taking photos ever since. I enjoy all kinds of photography but mostly landscape and nature, especially when I use my macro lens and I am able to get great close up pictures of flowers and lovely bumblebees.

I have recently started to do more photography outside of my day job, in the past year I have shot 6 weddings plus various newborn and family shoots. I enjoy capturing memories for people but I still just love going for a walk and taking my camera to see what I might find.

About a year ago I set up my Etsy shop, I don’t expect to make much money on here, but it is nice to have another place to showcase my work. It is also great that I don’t need to purchase greeting cards anymore as I just use my own :)

Hi, it's Veronika, your vegan friend and content creator of Veronika Honestly (no, not my surname).
I'm mathemagician (making money as maths tutor! ?), a bit of an artist (well, trying to get back to art) and also animal and adventure lover.
Get to know me on my About page and make sure you sign up for my newsletter to get my free printable greeting cards for vegans I made for everyone to use and spread the vegan word!

See you around and on my social media - stay in touch!

Thank you for reading this whole article =) I have a few things to mention here:

Firstly, if not already mentioned in the article, I would like you to know about my Honest Language Disclaimer (no, it's not about profanity) - in case you were wondering why my English is so weird and not Oxford-dictionary perfect (whose English is, anyway...)

Secondly, my post may contain affiliate links. Namely Etsy and Amazon links. If you click through and buy anything there, I will get a small commission, so you are basically helping me to reach the goals, to raise funds for animals sanctuaries. All of that at no extra cost to you or the seller. It's a win-win =)

Now, in the end, I have a tiny request: If you liked this post, could you please share this?
Sharing helps to keep my costs down so more can go towards animal charities and perhaps you'll make one's day by showing them something from this blog they will like to read! A share from you would seriously help a lot with the growth of this blog that focuses on spreading the vegan word and kindness - just the things you also care about =)

You may like to pin some graphics from here, you may want to share it to your blog (do you have a vegan-themed blog? Let me know, let's collaborate!) or to your favourite Facebook group... there are plenty of choices!

Thank you for your support!

And... what now?

If you read all of the above, then, by all means, you're awesome for reading it all! And I believe you are interested at least a bit in my work here - I'd say we may have a thing or two in common! =)

Let's stay connected - sign up for my newsletter and don't miss any big and interesting news from me, tips and ideas on how to get on with your vegan journey as well as how to spread the vegan awareness (I do it the friendly way).
There's always something going on here. Be a part of it.

And don't forget about my free printable greeting cards for animal lovers and a discount on my products - only for subscribers!
